Materials (metals)

Many materials are suitable to make labels and nameplates, but we use mainly metal surfaces. Metal gives an product a quality appearance. Moreover it is one of the most durable materials you can find on earth.

Focks Labels will advise you which metal is the most suitable for the purpose of your label. Nameplates that are used in or near seawater have to meet other requirements than labels that are used for indoor purposes. Beside these functional characteristics  we also take the appearance of the label into account when choosing the right metal.

This is an overview of the various materials we use for the production of labels and nameplates:

  • ‘AluSub’ aluminium
  • anodized aluminium
  • engraving material (Resopal/Gravoply)
  • copper
  • brass
  • nickel (3D metal)
  • polycarbonate
  • stainless steel
  • stickers
  • titanium
  • zinc alloy
